I’m Dan Strickland, a creative and analytical marketing professional with a strong interest in building and managing successful marketing strategies and tactics to improve ad campaigns, brand awareness and lead generation efforts.
For over 7 years, I have helped organizations successfully leverage digital and e-commerce marketing automation platforms to acquire, engage and connect prospects to brands and services to improve sales. In my previous role, I was Digital Marketing Manager at HSI, Health & Safety Institute, Inc., (a family of brands that delivers content, tools and expertise to improve safety, health and compliance for B2B and B2C). While there, I oversaw and managed marketing and website vendors while supporting brand management and sales leadership, to improve campaign effectiveness (PPC); increase web visitors, organic leads (SEO) and brand awareness across eight branded websites. I also helped to improve analytics reporting and data segmentation including persona and journey mapping; marketing funnel insight, definitions (MQLs), lead flow and handoff to sales.
When I’m not on the job, I value time with my family and friends including traveling to new places, meeting new people or simply exploring the outdoors with my dog.
